Chocolate Yoghurt Cake

1 cup of plain yogurt
1 cup of corn oil
3/4 cup of brown sugar
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 heaped tablespoons of baking powder

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180'c
  • Stir the yogurt, oil, and sugar together with a wooden spoon.
  • Sieve in the remaining ingredients.
  • Stir until thoroughly mixed.
  • Put the mixture into a greased 7" cake tin and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Turn out onto a wire cooling rack to cool.
