Thai Style Prawns

Serves 4

2 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
2 tablespoons of grated root ginger
2 tablespoons of chopped coriander
1 - 2 teaspoons of chilli paste, according to your taste
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
420g of peeled prawns (thawed and drained if frozen)

 

 

  • In a heatproof bowl, mix together all the ingredients, except the prawns
  • Add the prawns and toss well
  • Place the bowl over a pan of simmering water, cover and steam for 10-12 minutes until the prawns are hot and cooked through
  • Serve with plain boiled rice, or rice of your choice!

After special request from Beverley for a Thai Prawn recipe, I found this one, very quick and easy to prepare, watch out for more!
