Makes about 20
225g self raising flour
115g softened butter
60g caster sugar
Finely grated lemon rind
1 egg, beaten
110g dark chocolate drops

Preheat the oven to 180`c

Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs

Stir in the sugar and lemon rind

Mix to form a dough with the egg

Turn onto a floured work surface and knead until smooth

Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick

Cut into bars about 7x3cm, then transfer to a greased baking tray

Mark each bar in half with a knife and arrange the chocolate drops on each side to resemble domino dots

Bake for 12-15 minutes

Leave to cool for 5 minutes in the tray before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
